Blog assignment 11/5/08

Response to presidential election.

I was not surprised at the outcome of this presidential election. Although there was much skepticism about the outcome, I was sure Obama would win. This country has been facing multiple problems over the last decade and the American citizens are tired of them, they are ready for, not to sound cliche, change. I think Barack Obama will be a good president because he has solutions and again, changes to fix the problems we are in. A historical figure, being the first African American president of the United States and an intelligent and strong leader, Barack Obama will be good for our country.

I have to be honest although I expected he might win I really thought people would let their predjudices get in the way. After last night though I see my country in a new light. I can't to see the changes that follow. :)

I agree with you on a lot of what you wrote, especially that Barak Obama will be good for this country. I'll admit that I was skeptical about the outcome of the election, but I'm pleased that he won so conviningly.

I must say I thought it was some what funny that he didn't win by more. This counrty has been through a lot in the past years, and I think most of the country is stoked that we finally has a President that can lead.

As i posted earlier, i too think obama will be a great president, and his fresh perspective may infact break the traditions that have been leading americas stance in the world to a steady decline.
